Breathing Somatically: A Path to Deep Connection and Healing

Breathing is something we do every single moment of our lives, but have you ever stopped to truly feel and embody your breath

When we breathe somatically, we engage with our breath in a mindful, conscious way, allowing it to move through our body with intention and awareness. This simple practice can unlock profound physical and emotional benefits.

Somatic breathing is not just about taking in air—it's about connecting to your body, your emotions, and your present moment. It's about awareness, release, and healing.

When we breathe somatically, we engage with our breath in a mindful, conscious way, allowing it to move through our body with intention and awareness. This simple practice can unlock profound physical and emotional benefits. 💖

In this masterclass we travel through our inner anatomy to embody our diaphragm as well as our ribcage, sternum and other structures such as our pelvic floor - discovering not only how to make movement more free and easy but also how to take a deeper breath and how to feel calmer and clearer in the mind without meditation.

You do not have to have experienced somatic movement or the Franklin Method before to access this course and you will discover how simple and easy it can be to feel better not just in how you move but in your inner state, discovery grounding, clarity, deep rest as well as energy!

Here’s what some of my clients discovered in their previous sessions with me - and none of them had done Franklin Method® before:

“By the end of her sessions I feel relaxed and delighted by the potential of my body as a place of rejuvenation and power...”

“Sarah is a wonderful teacher. Endlessly knowledgeable by conveys complex ideas in a straightforward way. My mind is calm and my body can do things I never thought possible”

“The breath work is immersive and my mind chatter stopped! The session left me relaxed but feeling healthy and energised... I highly recommend Sarah to anyone…”

The Franklin Method is a somatic movement system working with our body from a scientific, biomechanics and physiological perspective. Sarah is an Advanced Franklin method educator and has undergone extensive training with Eric Franklin for over a decade. She is currently just one a few educators in the world working with him on Senses and Perception, a Expert Level for those who have trained in all of the Franklin Method®. In addition, she is a Somatic Therapist in training so will also be able to share the Somatic Polyvagal Perspective on the benefits of better breathing. As a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher she will also share how she uses Franklin Method with her clients within Pilates and within Dance.

Please note: if you have issues with your spine please contact me in advance. If you are suffering from PTSD or Panic Attacks as deeper breathing can trigger and open up areas that are vulnerable. If this applies to you please check with your Therapist that this is a suitable environment for you to be in at this point. In entering the stream you declare your medical suitability.

Due to the nature of somatic work this course is run with strictly limited numbers.
