Retreats, Immersives & Masterclasses on livestream & in person.
Embodied, Healthy & Holistic: Time out to explore you somatically, mind, body & spirit.
My Somatic Movement & Day retreats are always popular and frame the seasons. They are the perfect chance to dip your toe into Somatic Movement and are a good way to have a day of immersion in your body, and a day out for you. Come and work with me in person in a small group setting!
My Immersives & Livestreams are a somatic exploration within somatic movement education on a theme and last usually 2-3 hours and are in person & virtual. It’s your chance to experience some very rare and unusual work.
Like all of my sessions I work with small numbers as at the heart of somatic work is community and you.

Somatic Movement & Breath: Franklin Method® Immersive Worldwide Livestream via Zoom: The Dance of the Heart: Happy & Healthy in Movement and Breath
Coming in March 2025 one of my most favourite masterclasses on the Heart.
What does it mean to embody the heart?
What do you know about the heart or associate with it?
Have you heard the cue to 'Lift your heart'? How do you do that?
How does the heart move in movement as well as breathing?
If we learn to embody the heart how can that help us feel much calmer and at peace?
How can we use breath and movement to look after our heart?
How can we use something called embodiment to really use this piece of us that is so precious?
The Heart is an intelligent and tremendously beautiful piece of design. It has its own brain and the ability to survive even if we cut off the nerves connecting it to our brain. Right now, it conducts its own dance inside your body, whilst you are thinking breathing and moving. Emotions have as much to do with the heart and body as they do with the brain.
But we can use it for so much more than that: the heart can be used as a joint, to aid our movement and take away tension from the musculoskeletal system. Developing skills and learning about the heart can aid not just movement but enhance our sense of calm and wellbeing in body and in mind,
In this workshop you will...
Learn more about the power of dynamic imagery skills and how this can affect the fastest change in the body and the mind.
Learn about the function and structure of the heart and different ways to keep it healthy.
Learn and embody the heart as a muscle and a joint: learn new exercises to have greater flexibility and a sense of openness in your body.
Release tension in your spine and relax your neck and shoulders
Learn about the connection of mind body
Learn about the movements and rhythm of the heart in breathing
Learn more about how working from the heart can have a positive effect upon the nervous system, leaving you feeling very calm and relaxed through heart led breath works as well as finding out more about how to improve our vagal tone.
Leave the workshop feeling very relaxed, calm and of happy heart!

What My Clients Say…
“Personally, I valued the space and the small group which created a very personal experience with a clear connection to the other participants, whose stories were very powerful. I loved the softness of the approach and the connection to the beautiful and powerful act of breathing and how breath connects to all systems of the body (the soma) including physical, emotional and spiritual. Breath is apparently such a simple act and yet such a beautiful act of self care and healing which can easily be incorporated into daily life and practice. ”
— A.G. Medical & Movement Professional, Summer Retreat 2025
“The retreat day was so relaxing in terms of location- beautiful rural scenery, warm almost festive sense of comfort from the fire, and healthy snacks and drinks on offer. Sarah brought the potentially baffling area of somatics to life and made it really relatable. For someone like me with a significant eye issue I learned techniques to refresh tired eyes and feel more comfortable. It was fascinating to hear about the vagus nerve and how your well-being can be enhanced and senses enlivened and refreshed with somatic movements. The whole day was firstly relaxing and the theory of the system was fascinating to learn about. I would recommend Sarah’s retreats to any on whether they want intellectual stimulation, body and mind relaxation, or both.”
— S.P. Civil Servant, Seasonal Somatic Day Retreat 2024
“I attended Sarah lungs workshop. it had a very marked and profound on my thinking about my body and my approach to my health. I often think in negative ways about my heart and breathing. Sarah’s language and movement really helped me feel better and I continue to use the movements. I also really love the Franklin balls. Thank you Sarah for your ability to notice and help..”
— J.S. Movement Professional Franklin Method® Livestream, The Lungs, Breath, Energy & Movement
“Her enthusiasm and passion for sharing her knowledge of anatomy, coupled with her deep experiential understanding of the subtle rhythms of the body result in engaging classes; while her creativity in explaining these ideas and capacity to bring them into an embodied experience make the learning experientially-informed.
I’m so impressed by her own capacity for embodiment and her passion for sharing this with others, in which gentle attention and curiosity results in movement that’s joyful and pleasurable. By the end of her sessions I feel relaxed and delighted by the potential of my body as a place of rejuvenation and power..”

“The Franklin Method Breathe and Relax class was amazing. At the end of a busy, mind stretching day I anticipated struggling to switch off and relax. Following Sarah’s gentle prompts I was delighted. The breath work is immersive and my mind chatter stopped! The session left me relaxed but feeling healthy and energised... I highly recommend Sarah to anyone.”
