That feeling of inner calm...
Is so important for your health and wellbeing. For me, practising accessing this state is not only a fundamental skill as a movement teacher and somatic practitioner but is a skill of life, one that makes life more rewarding, richer, calmer and more energised.
The way to find that feeling is to become more at one with your own body, so you are resourced to handle everyday challenges.
You can start to take greater responsibility for your own stress levels and have a very clear mind from which to make grounded decisions.
You can optimise your sleep patterns and gain a greater sense of rest and peace.
You can optimise the way you move in Pilates, Dance or Yoga or simply away from any movement system at all.
If you feel nervous about events - social, work or performance related you can calm yourself so you can be or perform at your best.
You can make decisions from a centered or embodied place and ultimately lead a life that is wholesome and feels authentic to you.
So, take a breath, take a deeper breath... Enter a world of calm, a world of energy and movement. Understood what healthy and efficient breathing not only means but how it feels within your unique body using a system called the Franklin Method® and my experience working with it with laypeople as well as professional movers, combined with my experience as a specialist Pilates teacher that has worked for years with clients with injury or chronic conditions.
Part 1 focuses on a journey through the bones and muscles, Part 2 coming in May is a journey through the organs and cells.
